Uniform Leave Rules
Uniform Leave Rules
- All leave applications must be submitted in writing to the respective authority well in advance, except in emergencies. Approval depends on eligibility, reason, and departmental recommendation. Unauthorized absence without prior permission is subject to disciplinary action.
- Casual leave is granted up to a specified limit annually. It cannot be combined with other leaves unless specifically approved. Requests for leave during examinations or academic duties require special permission from the principal.
- Sick leave beyond two consecutive days requires submission of a valid medical certificate. Staff and students are advised to use sick leave responsibly and ensure timely communication of their absence to the administration.
- Earned leave is applicable mainly for permanent staff members. Such leave requires prior sanction and proper documentation. Leave extensions must be requested before expiry of the sanctioned leave period to avoid absence without permission.
- All leaves taken must be recorded accurately in attendance registers. The administration regularly monitors leave records to ensure compliance and maintain proper documentation for future reference and audits.
